This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research on the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors to pinpoint potential partner organizations (including manufacturers, compounding pharmacies, suppliers, and distributors) and identify key decision-makers within those entities (through LinkedIn, industry events, trade publications, referrals, databases, etc.)
• Establish and sustain a steady pipeline of qualified pharmaceutical partnership leads and contacts, utilizing a combination of outbound strategies (cold emails, LinkedIn outreach, phone calls) and inbound follow-ups.
• Engage with prospective pharmaceutical partners to present LumiMeds, assess mutual interest, and initiate exploratory discussions regarding potential collaborations—such as supply agreements, distribution, co-development, or other partnership formats.
• Organize and facilitate introductory calls between qualified partners and our leadership team, ensuring both parties are well-prepared with relevant context.
• Monitor all outreach activities, conversations, and appointment statuses within the CRM; maintain accuracy and currency of contact and lead information.
• Manage timely follow-ups with prospects who may not be ready to engage yet, nurturing the relationship for future opportunities, as pharmaceutical partnership cycles can be lengthy.
• Regularly report on outreach metrics, response rates, and the overall health of the pipeline to leadership.
• 1–3+ years of experience in business development, sales development (SDR/BDR), lead generation, or outreach related to partnerships—experience in pharma, healthcare, or life sciences B2B is highly preferred.
• Effective time management skills: capable of managing a high volume of concurrent outreach threads and follow-ups without oversight.
• Goal and results-driven: comfortable being evaluated based on outreach volume, response rates, and booked calls.
• Attention to detail: diligent with CRM data and contact records—accuracy is crucial in pharmaceutical partnerships, where compliance and credibility are essential.
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills: confident in initiating conversations with senior stakeholders (procurement leads, business development contacts, executives in pharmaceutical firms).
• Resilience: comfortable with outbound outreach and managing a typical level of rejection.
• Research proficiency: skilled at identifying suitable pharmaceutical companies and relevant decision-makers within those organizations.
• Industry awareness and professionalism: cognizant that pharma operates within a regulated environment—communications should remain professional and refrain from making unconfirmed claims about products or partnerships.
• Highly organized, with experience using CRM systems (such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, etc.).
• Preferred: an existing network or experience in pharmaceuticals, compounding, or healthcare distribution.
• Opportunities for professional development.
