Partner Business Manager

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable consultant for ePlus, fostering mutually advantageous relationships that align with HPE's business objectives.

• Drive comprehensive HPE revenue, profitability, and pipeline through collaborative business strategies and data-informed sales initiatives.

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of ePlus's priorities, industry trends, the IT landscape, investment strategies, HPE's objectives, and HPE technology.

• Articulate the value of the HPE portfolio and solutions to distinguish HPE from its competitors.

• Establish executive-level connections with ePlus to enhance HPE's market presence.

• Oversee sales cadence, education, marketing, executive briefings, forecasting, business planning, and client interactions.

• Facilitate account mapping with ePlus and HPE Sales teams to synchronize field sales efforts.

• Direct HPE strategy, programs, and systems in collaboration with ePlus.

• Motivate ePlus to expand the number of sellers, Solution Architects, and other partner resources centered on HPE.

• Customize HPE products, services, and technology partnerships to meet customer requirements and assigned quotas.

• Identify and nurture relationships with new partners.

• Ensure partners are informed about and adhere to HPE SBC requirements and relevant legal obligations.

• Align sales initiatives across Commercial, Enterprise, Public Sector, Cloud, Hyperscalers, and Service Providers.

• Manage a substantial sales quota.


⛳️ Requirements

• A University or Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

• Typically possess over 8 years of experience in partner sales.

• Demonstrated experience in selling to partners within a complex environment.

• Proven experience collaborating with and through ePlus.

• Comprehensive understanding of current technology trends and associated HPE strategies.

• Capability to influence partners and employ selling techniques to identify opportunities and propose solutions.

• Knowledge of business and financial fundamentals.

• In-depth understanding of HPE products, competitors, partner industry, trends, and channel dynamics.

• Proficient in negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

• Familiarity with financial accounting concepts, including income statements, balance sheets, and revenue forecasts.

• Skills in sales forecasting.

• Strong professional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Willingness to innovate and take proactive measures to enhance sales.

• Ability to adhere to HPE's SBC requirements and relevant legal obligations.
