Part-Time Water Management Equipment Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide service and account management assistance for clients within a designated region.

• Conduct water tests and on-site assessments for chlorine, temperature, pH, and residual oxidant levels.

• Maintain water monitoring equipment and carry out minor maintenance tasks.

• Collect water samples from buildings and forward them to a laboratory for analysis.

• Aid in the upkeep of Comprehensive Water Management Programs.

• Analyze data related to microbiology and water chemistry.

• Respond promptly, professionally, and accurately to client inquiries.

• Travel to client locations within the region and occasionally assist other regions as needed.

• After completing training, potentially mentor or train colleagues to foster knowledge sharing and team growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Applicants must reside near Syracuse, Ithaca, Corning, Cortland, or Elmira, NY.

• A background in science, engineering, or mathematics is preferred.

• Capability to learn the operation of equipment used for measuring pH, temperature, and residual oxidant in water.

• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.

• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

• Self-driven and proactive; possessing a “Can do” attitude.

• A keen interest in learning new concepts.

• A commitment to uphold high ethical standards and promote a diverse workplace.

• Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced business environment while handling multiple tasks effectively.

• Proficiency in MS Office, Gmail, and various Google applications.

• Willingness to travel to client sites within approximately 100 miles of Syracuse, NY.

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

• Capability to walk extensively around client locations, climb stairs or ladders, and lift up to 25 pounds.

• Must verify identity and work eligibility in the United States and complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hiring.
