Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Fee For Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients through an ongoing telemedicine platform.

• Offer care to a varied clientele experiencing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and others.

• Prescribe medications to alleviate mental health symptoms as necessary.

• Develop and collaborate with clients on individualized care plans.

• Complete and/or manage necessary paperwork and assessment tools for clients.

• Comply with Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.

• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across different locations.

• Accept and provide treatment for ADHD clients after successfully finishing the in-house ADHD treatment training and examination.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Board Certification.

• A Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority is required in the practicing state.

• A minimum of three years of experience is preferred.

• At least one year of psychiatric practice experience is mandatory.

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners must hold a license and reside in the state where they will be practicing.

• Part-time availability requires 15 to 20 hours per week.

• Must be willing to treat clients aged 14 years and older.

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is advantageous.

• All clinicians are required to complete in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and methods, followed by a brief examination.

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hiring.

• This position does not qualify for employment visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.
