Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Fee For Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Deliver care to a varied clientele experiencing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and others.

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations in a continuous telemedicine environment.

• Prescribe medications as necessary to alleviate mental health symptoms.

• Develop and work collaboratively with clients on personalized care plans.

• Complete and/or administer the necessary documentation and assessment tools for clients.

• Comply with Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.

• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across different locations.

• Accept and provide care for ADHD clients through the ADHD Clinic.

• Refer clients to in-person providers when symptoms are too severe for treatment via telemedicine only.

• Primarily work with adults and adolescents, with plans for future expansion across all age groups.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification is mandatory.

• A Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state is required.

• A minimum of three years of experience is advantageous.

• At least one year of practice in psychiatry is essential.

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners must hold a license and reside in the state where they practice.

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus.

• Part-time positions require 15 - 20 hours of availability each week.

• Must be willing to treat individuals aged 14 and older.

• All clinicians must complete an in-house training program on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approaches, followed by a brief examination.

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.

• This position does not qualify for employment visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.
