Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Fee For Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients via ongoing telemedicine.

• Provide treatment to a varied population dealing with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD.

• Prescribe medications as necessary to alleviate mental health symptoms.

• Develop and collaborate with clients on personalized care plans.

• Complete and/or administer relevant paperwork and assessment tools.

• Follow Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines diligently.

• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across different locations.

• Accept and provide treatment for ADHD clients at the ADHD Clinic.

• Make medication prescribing decisions tailored to the individual client's symptoms and diagnosis.

• Refer clients to in-person providers if symptoms are too severe for telemedicine treatment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Board Certification.

• A Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required in the state.

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is advantageous.

• A minimum of one year of psychiatric practice experience is required; three years of experience is preferred.

• Must be licensed and residing in Arizona, the state of practice.

• Part-time position requires 15–20 hours of availability per week.

• Completion of in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approaches, followed by a brief exam is mandatory.

• Must be willing to treat clients aged 14 and older.

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hiring.
