Part-Time Mental Health Provider – TalkNow

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer primary emotional support to students and faculty/staff members through TalkNow.

• Provide remote, on-demand telehealth services tailored for the higher education student demographic.

• Allocate approximately 20 minutes for each client, plus an additional 10 minutes for documentation, ensuring sessions do not exceed 30 minutes in total.

• Utilize active listening and evidence-based techniques to foster rapport, collaborate effectively, support, and enhance client care.

• Uphold professional standards in interactions with students, colleagues, and support staff.

• Maintain composure and adaptability in response to evolving member needs.

• Evaluate, triage, and document sessions that may involve potential crises, self-harm, or suicidal thoughts.

• Address members in crisis with professionalism, empathy, support, and cultural sensitivity.

• Commit to scheduled Saturday and Sunday shifts, totaling 20 hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a Master's Degree (M.A./M.S.) in Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy.

• A Provisional or Associate License is REQUIRED.

• Being a Fully Licensed Mental Health Practitioner is a plus.

• Excellent clinical writing, assessment, and active listening abilities.

• Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies.

• Background in providing therapeutic services to young adults, adolescents, at-risk groups, community mental health, crisis support, or college counseling.

• Maintain personal internet service that meets approved speed standards.

• Have a HIPAA-compliant workspace that is free from distractions.

• Successful completion of credentialing, onboarding, and training programs is required.

• Compliance with HIPAA and adherence to required policies and procedures is essential.

• Valid U.S. work authorization; sponsorship is not available.
