Part Time Math Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Instruct mathematics to learners ranging from Pre-K to Middle School.

• Actively engage and oversee classrooms with a maximum of 16 students.

• Develop and present lessons utilizing Think Academy's curriculum and instructional guidance.

• Assess homework and provide essential educational support services.

• Maintain communication with students and parents, delivering timely and personalized feedback.

• Commit to working 15–20 hours weekly, primarily on weekends and weekday afternoons.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher; all fields of study are welcome if there is a passion for children and teaching math.

• Individuals currently pursuing or working towards a Bachelor's degree may apply.

• Preferred background in Education or STEM-related fields.

• Prior experience in math teaching is not mandatory, but appreciated.

• A strong enthusiasm for teaching and the education sector.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Highly responsible with a genuine enjoyment of working with children.

• A commitment to teaching for at least one complete semester.

• Availability and readiness to work during weekday evenings and weekends.

🏝️ Benefits

• $40/hr teaching fee plus $20/hr non-teaching fee.

• Target commission based on student retention.
