Part-Time Math Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Instruct mathematics to learners from Pre-K to middle school

• Actively engage with and manage classrooms consisting of up to 16 students

• Develop and present lessons in accordance with Think Academy's curriculum and instructional guidance

• Evaluate homework and offer teaching-related services

• Maintain communication with students and parents while providing timely and personalized feedback

• Commit to working 15–20 hours per week, primarily during weekends and weekday afternoons

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher; candidates who are currently pursuing or in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree may apply

• Preferred majors include Education or those related to STEM

• Previous experience in math teaching is not mandatory, but considered a plus

• A genuine passion for teaching and the educational field

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• Highly responsible and enjoys interacting with children

• A commitment to complete at least one full semester of teaching

• Availability and willingness to work during weekday evenings and weekends

• $40/hr teaching fee plus an additional $20/hr for non-teaching duties

• Commission targeted based on student retention
