Part-Time Honey Bee Research Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Perform observations and experiments related to honey bees and/or honey.

• Execute laboratory and/or field assays along with data collection.

• Collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and graduate students on research initiatives.

• Keep precise records of experimental data and aid in data interpretation.

• Assist in maintaining a tidy and organized work environment in both laboratory and/or field settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous beekeeping experience is preferred.

• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Openness to working in both laboratory and field environments.

• Keen attention to detail and adherence to experimental protocols is necessary.

• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with online meeting platforms, word processing software, spreadsheets, and other data-sharing tools.

• Successful completion of background checks in accordance with University policies is required.
