This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver designated course content in an online setting
• Facilitate engaging and interactive synchronous learning experiences
• Provide instruction, assistance, and direction while overseeing the learning process
• Prioritize students' individual needs and foster positive relationships
• Utilize knowledge of the K12 curriculum, online education, and state and industry-specific learning standards
• Enhance course content and create instructional tools, strategies, and lessons aligned with the school’s pacing schedule
• Maintain regular contact with students via email or phone
• Respond to student and school-related inquiries, typically within one business day
• Participate in academically-focused meetings with affiliated school administrators
• Attend scheduled virtual staff meetings
• Monitor and report on student academic progress and pacing
• Generate formal reports and notify administrators about concerns regarding progress and attendance
• Organize orientation, training, social, and educational events for students and families
• Create monthly newsletters or update the website as necessary
• Lead orientations for students and parents as required
• Assess students in accordance with policy
• Occasionally travel to school events, such as state testing
• Valid state Department of Education High School (9-12) Math Teaching Certification required
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of one (1) year of industry experience leading to certification, or a comparable combination of education and experience
• Relevant subject teaching certification

• Strong knowledge of content and subject matter
• Ability to support and guide both adults and students
• Excellent understanding of motivational techniques
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
• Willingness and capability to obtain additional state licensing as needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the web
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
• Ability to pass the required background check
• Internet service with modem/router
• High-speed internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speed
• Capacity to work typically 20–25 hours per week, with flexibility for fewer or additional hours as required
• Availability during daytime business hours (8am–5pm ET, Monday–Friday) as necessary
