Part-Time Finance Manager – DTC Brand

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Ensure robust internal checks and balances among departments prior to sending financial data to the accounting agency.

• Examine and audit invoices from shipping providers, vendors, and other suppliers for mistakes, overcharges, duplicate charges, and overlooked claims.

• Detect discrepancies and follow up with relevant teams or vendors to address issues.

• Aggregate financial reports and KPIs from various departments.

• Assess financial data for precision, completeness, and consistency.

• Prepare accurate and verified financial information for the external accounting agency.

• Collaborate with the external accounting team and supply the necessary documentation and information.

• Assist in enhancing internal finance processes, reporting, and reconciliation workflows.

• Utilize AI tools such as Claude to automate repetitive reconciliation and finance-related tasks.

• Investigate opportunities to develop more efficient AI-powered workflows, instructions, and processes.

• Provide support for additional finance-related tasks as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in finance, accounting, financial operations, or a related field.

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies or inconsistencies in financial data.

• Experience in reviewing invoices, expenses, reconciliations, or financial reports.

• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external accounting partners.

• A genuine interest in leveraging AI to enhance finance and accounting workflows.

• Preferred: Experience with remote or international companies.

• Preferred: Experience collaborating with external accounting firms/agencies.

• Preferred: Experience in eCommerce, DTC, or other fast-paced industries.
