Part-Time Faculty – Cyber Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Act as an Instructor of Record and/or create courses for undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

• Teach or design courses in areas such as cyber forensics, cyber risk management, applied cryptography, penetration testing, secure network administration, cybersecurity law, or other pertinent subjects.

• Provide fully online, asynchronous learning experiences.

• Engage with students actively.

• Commence teaching assignments at the start of available six- or eight-week sessions.

• Submit references if selected for the final stages of the hiring process.

• Undergo a background screening if you progress in the selection process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related discipline.

• Proven academic and/or professional background in cybersecurity or a closely related technical field.

• Established knowledge and practical experience in one or more areas such as network security, digital forensics, penetration testing, risk management, or systems security.

• Necessary technology for teaching fully online, including a computer/laptop, high-speed internet access, webcam, and microphone.

• A cover letter, curriculum vitae or résumé, and transcript for the highest degree attained are required for a complete application.

• Capability to work without visa sponsorship support.
