Part Time Faculty, Applied Psychology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional instruction utilizing a pre-established curriculum.

• Conduct competency-based assessments and provide timely feedback within 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays.

• Be reachable via phone, email, and in the online classroom to assist learners.

• Make use of the online learning platform to enhance the educational experience.

• Set high expectations and clarify evaluation standards for students.

• Comply with University policies and regulations.

• Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and mandatory training sessions.

• Engage in additional activities based on the needs of the university.

• Accept assignments on a continual rolling-enrollment basis aligned with expertise and institutional requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in online teaching is mandatory.

• Professional experience in the relevant field: at least two years required for undergraduate level and three years for graduate level.

• Research, scholarship, or accomplishments in the discipline are necessary for graduate-level positions.

• At the doctoral level, experience in conducting and supervising research in the field is required.

• A master's degree in psychology is essential.

• All degrees must be awarded by a regionally accredited institution.

• Required certifications, licenses, and unofficial transcripts for all graduate degrees must be submitted.

• Proven understanding of academic evaluation processes.

• Strong oral presentation skills, along with planning and organizing course objectives.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Demonstrated familiarity with academic technology.

• Proficient computer skills are required.

• Capability to handle potentially stressful situations in a professional and ethical manner.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.

• Visa sponsorship is not offered.

• Willingness to travel occasionally within the US if business requirements arise.

• Ability to work more than 40 hours per week when necessary.

• Must have access to a computer, privacy, dependable internet access, phone, and video conferencing capability in a remote setting.
