Part-Time Community Moderator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate member reports according to Tandem's Community Guidelines

• Assess new member applications

• Provide timely responses to members' queries and concerns

• Work collaboratively with the wider community team to address reported issues

• Foster a safe and dynamic environment for impactful language exchange

• Ensure that interactions are respectful, engaging, and in accordance with Community Guidelines

• Report to the Community Manager and collaborate closely with other community moderators

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in English

• Strong knowledge of additional languages is an advantage

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

• Proactive problem solver with a strong interest in mobile applications and new software tools

• Familiarity with content moderation and awareness of challenges related to sensitive topics

• Previous experience in customer support or content moderation is preferred

• Must have a laptop or desktop computer with a reliable internet connection

• Ability to submit an invoice each month

• Comfortable working between 07:00 and 13:00 (UTC +8), with flexible working hours

• Availability to work on weekends may be required
