Paralegal – Trademark Law, Federal Litigation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Prepare and oversee discovery responses, which includes filling out discovery questionnaires.

• Draft, review, and organize legal documents such as pleadings, affidavits, contracts, and briefs.

• Ensure that legal documents are correctly formatted, precise, and ready for submission.

• Organize and maintain case files, records, and all legal documentation.

• Monitor deadlines, filings, and the progress of cases.

• Manage correspondence and documentation related to ongoing cases.

• Communicate with clients to collect information and conduct initial interviews.

• Provide updates on case progress and assist with client inquiries.

• Liaise with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.

• Coordinate with attorneys regarding document filings and compliance requirements.

• Assist in case preparation and administrative legal tasks.

• Support internal workflows to facilitate smooth case progression.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience as a Paralegal is mandatory.

• Experience in a U.S. law firm is essential.

• Familiarity with California law is an advantage.

• Background in Trademark law and USPTO trademark applications and/or Federal Litigation is beneficial.

• Strong grasp of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation is required.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English are necessary.

• Proficient writing skills are essential.

• High attention to detail and a strong level of accuracy are crucial.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities are required.

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Must be proactive, adaptable, and highly self-motivated.

• A strong sense of accountability and initiative is essential.

• Reliability and good communication skills are a must.

• Availability to work from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM PST, Monday through Friday.
