Paralegal – Personal Injury

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Prepare and submit legal documents such as complaints, motions, discovery requests, and subpoenas.

• Organize and oversee case calendars, ensuring all deadlines, hearings, and trial dates are managed effectively.

• Support the preparation process for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

• Condense medical records, deposition transcripts, and discovery materials into summaries.

• Keep case files and trial binders meticulously organized.

• Facilitate communication among clients, medical professionals, expert witnesses, and court staff.

• Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy and trial preparations.

• Guarantee timely delivery of documents and follow up on filing confirmations.

• Conduct legal research and assist in case development as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a strong preference for personal injury litigation.

• In-depth understanding of California civil litigation procedures and court regulations.

• Skilled in drafting and managing legal documents and court submissions.

• Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.

• High level of attention to detail and capacity to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
