This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate both internal and external materials, such as marketing, communications, and customer-facing documents, ensuring they comply with legal and regulatory standards.
• Recognize risks related to intellectual property, privacy, and advertising guidelines, providing recommendations for mitigation.
• Guarantee accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company policies and branding guidelines.
• Prepare, review, negotiate, and redline commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, service agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and licensing deals.
• Assess contractual terms, identify risks, and suggest modifications that safeguard the company's interests while supporting business goals.
• Keep well-organized records of contracts, monitor essential provisions, and track renewal timelines.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Procurement, Operations, business leaders, and external legal counsel.
• Convert legal concepts into actionable business strategies.
• Perform legal research regarding regulatory updates and emerging compliance obligations.
• Aid in drafting and revising policies, procedures, and templates.
• Assist legal leadership with special projects and initiatives.
• Develop checklists, templates, and workflows to enhance review efficiency and minimize legal risks.
• Oversee contract management systems, tracking obligations and compliance requirements.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• A paralegal certificate or comparable formal training is highly preferred.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in content review within a legal, compliance, or corporate setting.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, with a proven track record of managing complex agreements.
• Strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory standards relevant to marketing and commercial transactions.
• Exceptional legal writing, editing, and analytical abilities.
• Capability to simplify complex legal ideas into clear and practical guidance.
• Proficiency in contract management systems, legal research tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain precision and attention to detail.
• Proven professionalism, discretion, and a collaborative spirit when working with various departments and external stakeholders.
