This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the daily development and oversight of paid campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and other testing platforms.
• Organize accounts for scalability, including campaign taxonomy, ad-group logic, audience segmentation, bidding strategies, naming conventions, and asset organization.
• Execute daily optimizations via bid adjustments, negative keyword implementation, audience refinement, budget reallocations, and creative rotations.
• Oversee monthly paid media expenditures exceeding $250K, adjusting spend based on campaign performance.
• Implement advanced bidding techniques such as tCPA, tROAS, Advantage+, PMax, and value-based bidding strategies.
• Act as the main point of contact with advertising platform representatives for beta access and policy escalations.
• Manage event tracking and conversion setups using GTM, GA4, server-side infrastructure, MMP/attribution tools, and platform pixels/CAPIs.
• Ensure the integrity of UTMs, accurate conversion events, deduplicated pixels, and comprehensive measurement plans.
• Generate campaign analyses using Looker, Tableau, or the data warehouse.
• Convert ROAS, CPA, CTR, CPC, and CPM metrics into LTV, CAC, payback, and contribution margins for leadership review.
• Conduct ongoing weekly tests of ad copy, hooks, static and video creatives, thumbnails, and landing page combinations.
• Provide the Creative team with performance data, competitor insights, hypotheses, format specifications, and success metrics.
• Monitor creative fatigue and rotate assets proactively to prevent performance declines.
• Suggest channel mix and monthly budget allocations.
• Assist with upper-funnel media planning, measurement, and testing across YouTube, connected TV, and selected traditional/OOH channels.
• Collaborate with teams in Lifecycle Marketing, Growth Experimentation, CRM, and Web.
• Conduct competitor analysis utilizing Meta Ad Library, TikTok Creative Center, SEMrush, and SimilarWeb.
• For senior positions, oversee strategy, mentor team members, establish team standards, and provide guidance on incremental spend allocation.
• Proven hands-on experience in planning, purchasing, and managing full-funnel paid campaigns across paid search, paid social, and paid video.
• Ideally, experience with consumer subscription services, marketplaces, mobile-first products, dating apps, or social media platforms.
• Extensive hands-on expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.
• Direct experience with at least one of TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, or LinkedIn; familiarity with multiple platforms is highly advantageous.
• Proficient understanding of GTM, GA4, server-side tracking, and CAPI setups, with practical experience in building them.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficient in Excel/Sheets, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data modeling.
• Experience using Looker, Tableau, or a data warehouse for independent data analysis.
• SQL knowledge is a significant advantage.
• Capability to audit existing ad accounts, identify structural or spending inefficiencies, and implement improved campaigns within the first week.
• Daily utilization of ChatGPT, Claude, or comparable AI tools for ad copy, creative briefs, performance assessments, and workflow automation.
• Strong operational discipline, ensuring timely delivery, strict quality assurance, clean naming conventions, and thorough documentation.
• For the Paid Media Specialist role: 3–5 years of direct paid media experience.
• For the Paid Media Specialist role: demonstrated ownership of monthly ad spend in the $100K–$250K+ range across various channels.
• For the Senior Paid Media Specialist role: 5–8+ years of direct paid media experience.
• For the Senior Paid Media Specialist role: proven management of $500K+ monthly ad spend with quantifiable CAC and payback outcomes.
• For the Senior Paid Media Specialist role: experience with at least two of programmatic DSP, connected TV, incrementality testing, geo holdouts, or MMM.
• Preferred: experience within a consumer subscription business or at a leading consumer/DTC agency.
• Preferred: Google Ads and Meta Blueprint certifications or equivalent proven expertise.
• Preferred: hands-on experience with AI-driven media buying, creative generation, and optimization tools.
