This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee packaging development initiatives for private-label clients, coordinating activities from the project's inception to final artwork approval and printer release.
β’ Collect and organize packaging requirements from various teams and assist in the creation and submission of packaging briefs.
β’ Liaise with external creative partners to ensure packaging assets are produced in line with product specifications, retailer requirements, and project timelines.
β’ Maintain comprehensive packaging files, artwork records, proofs, and version histories to guarantee accurate documentation and easy access.
β’ Manage packaging-related approvals, including proofs, ink drawdowns, shelf-ready packaging components, dielines, and color standards.
β’ Oversee artwork review and approval workflows via Ziflow, including file routing, feedback tracking, revision management, and ensuring timely completion of reviews.
β’ Evaluate packaging artwork for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with approved specifications before stakeholder review.
β’ Track project timelines and approval milestones, escalating issues and assisting in resolutions to uphold project schedules.
β’ Develop, document, and maintain packaging processes, standard operating procedures, workflow guides, and project management tools.
β’ Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, minimize errors, and optimize packaging and artwork approval processes.
β’ Aid in the implementation, administration, and ongoing management of digital asset management (DAM) systems, including asset organization, governance, and user training.
β’ Coordinate the migration, storage, and management of packaging and creative assets to ensure consistency and accessibility across teams.
β’ Provide project management assistance for branded product lines, encompassing artwork coordination, proof approvals, and communication with stakeholders.
β’ Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, FSQA, Sales, Supply Chain, and external partners to facilitate packaging initiatives and achieve business objectives.
β’ Undertake additional related duties and special projects as assigned.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in packaging project management, creative operations, or artwork management within the CPG or food & beverage sectors.
β’ Direct, hands-on experience with Private Label packaging workflows is essential.
β’ Experience with Walmart is highly desirable.
β’ Familiarity with managing artwork review platforms is required; Ziflow is strongly preferred, or alternatives such as Artwork Flow, Widen, Canto, or similar systems.
β’ Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects across various retailers, timelines, and stakeholders without missing details.
β’ Strong understanding of print production fundamentals, including ink drawdowns, color proofing, packaging specifications and dielines, print-ready file requirements, and communication with suppliers.
β’ Experience in managing creative freelancers or agencies, including overseeing deliverables and priorities while holding contractors accountable to scope and timelines.
β’ Excellent organizational skills and file management practices are crucial.
