Packaged Application Test Engineer – SAP RISE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Establish and execute the comprehensive testing strategy for the SAP S/4HANA transformation.

• Assist in cloud transformation initiatives through the RISE offering, which includes system conversion, brownfield, and greenfield approaches, as well as the SAP Activate methodology.

• Create and uphold test plans, frameworks, and methodologies that align with program objectives.

• Oversee and direct test teams, managing resource allocation and performance metrics.

• Organize User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and enhance stakeholder engagement.

• Lead defect management efforts, covering triage, tracking of resolutions, and reporting.

• Maintain adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the testing lifecycle.

• Collaborate with functional, technical, and business teams to confirm requirements and deliverables.

• Provide program leadership with status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 8 years of experience in software testing.

• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.

• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale ERP testing programs, preferably with SAP S/4HANA.

• Strong understanding of testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

• Excellent skills in stakeholder management, communication, and leadership.

• SAP certification or experience with the SAP Activate methodology is preferred.

• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery models is preferred.

• Experience with automation tools and performance testing is preferred.
