
Outside Sales Representative – Modular Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Develop and implement a strategic sales initiative to enhance market share within the designated territory.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for larger-scale/custom modular projects, which may include commercial buildings, educational institutions, medical facilities, and specialized space solutions.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and long-term project opportunities.
• Perform regular territory analysis to identify growth segments, competitive activities, and new business targets.
• Engage with clients, architects, engineers, general contractors, developers, and government agencies to comprehend project requirements and propose modular solutions.
• Lead discovery discussions concerning site conditions, design specifications, building codes, budget limitations, and project timelines.
• Collaborate with internal design, estimating, engineering, and project management teams to create preliminary drawings, budgets, and formal proposals.
• Present intricate modular building solutions and project concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and long-term accounts throughout the territory.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance market presence.
• Facilitate pre-construction meetings and ensure smooth communication between customers and internal teams.
• Develop comprehensive proposals, RFP responses, cost estimates, scopes of work, and contractual terms.
• Lead negotiations to secure project awards while ensuring profitability and adherence to company guidelines.
• Manage documentation, approvals, and the transition to project delivery teams following contract execution.
• 3-7 years of sales experience in commercial construction, modular buildings, prefabrication, or related fields.
• Proven track record of managing long sales cycles and successfully securing complex, high-value projects.
• Strong understanding of construction concepts, building codes, and design/build processes.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with architectural plans, specifications, and estimating processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong skills in project management, new business development, and customer retention are essential.
• Ability to define issues, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Capability to effectively present information to senior management.
• The physical demands of this position include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job.
