Outside Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and sustain customer relationships through travel and consistent communication.

• Identify and pursue new customers while generating qualified sales leads.

• Prepare daily, job, CRU, and project quotations.

• Follow up on orders and collaborate with the Inside Sales Representative team until completion.

• Deliver customer service, technical support, and assistance with customer claims.

• Conduct customer outreach and engage in telephone sales activities.

• Monitor and relay information regarding customer, competitor, and market intelligence.

• Complete monthly reviews of the territory and manage the pricing matrix.

• Engage in goal setting and performance evaluations.

• Visit Atlas locations as part of the educational process.

• Effectively manage time and carry out other related duties as assigned.

• Report to the Regional Manager and collaborate with sales management and other departments to meet financial and tonnage objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, a college diploma, or equivalent experience.

• Seven or more years of relevant business or sales experience.

• Excellent skills in building customer relationships and communication.

• Capacity to seek out new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.

• Proficient in quoting, following up, organizing, and managing time effectively.

• Ability to deliver technical support and address customer concerns.

• Must reside within the assigned territory and be willing to travel throughout the region as required.

• Capability to work independently while collaborating with sales management, Inside Sales Representatives, and other departments.
