This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +1 more state.
• Conduct 8–12 sales calls weekly.
• Participate in 2–4 trade shows and professional meetings each month within the territory.
• Promote and sell across the entire line card.
• Ensure the CRM database is consistently updated.
• Promptly follow up with leads.
• Market instruments and service plans.
• Troubleshoot product issues and liaise with the factory for solutions.
• Generate new business through cold calling, lead follow-up, and referrals from current accounts.
• Sustain existing account relationships by providing high-quality service, proactively introducing new products, and staying informed on regulatory matters and industry trends.
• Perform product demonstrations.
• Engage in direct sales activities, including cold calling and generating leads.
• Oversee the assigned territory and follow up with leads and current customers.
• Analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
• Establish and nurture relationships with retail partners and clients.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional materials.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• A minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience in technical sales, ideally within the industrial/manufacturing/fire markets.
• Eagerness to learn about new products and applications.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in CRM and MS Office software.
• Demonstrates honesty and ethical behavior.
• Interest in a long-term outside sales role within a designated territory.
• Strong abilities in lead generation and territory management.
• Capable of delivering engaging product demonstrations that effectively convey value propositions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Skilled in data analysis to guide sales strategies and decision-making processes.
• Self-motivated and results-driven.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Familiarity with CRM software is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment screening is required.
