This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Formulate and implement territory strategies that encompass key segments, target accounts, client objectives, sales targets, and activities.
• Engage in prospecting, identify client needs, propose solutions, handle objections, secure commitments, and encourage repeat purchases by utilizing CORE’s Seven Step sales methodology.
• Develop and sustain a portfolio of priority operator accounts.
• Recognize decision makers, assess business needs, analyze competitive landscapes, evaluate account potential, and define subsequent steps.
• Convert approved client and group-level initiatives into operator-level sales approaches.
• Maintain a qualified sales pipeline with clearly defined stages, next actions, anticipated volumes, risks, and target conversion timelines.
• Ensure timely and precise Salesforce entries for customer profiles, contacts, activities, opportunities, samples, commitments, competitive insights, and outcomes.
• Leverage sales and market intelligence to enhance targeting, call preparation, forecasting, and business updates.
• Collaborate with Regional Managers, sales leadership, client teams, culinary resources, distributors, and other stakeholders.
• Organize travel, sequence opportunities, select authorized sales resources, and address routine customer challenges.
• Represent CORE and its clients at customer meetings, food expos, vendor fairs, training sessions, and industry events.
• Effectively manage time, travel logistics, Everlance, samples, sales materials, expenses, and company resources.
• Achieve or surpass assigned sales, case-volume, distribution, conversion, and client goals.
• Keep an updated territory plan, maintain a productive call schedule, cultivate a qualified pipeline, and provide reliable forecasts.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in foodservice sales, restaurant operations, hospitality, account management, or a related field.
• A minimum of two years of experience managing a sales territory, account portfolio, or equivalent business is preferred.
• Proven track record of success with full-cycle selling, needs-based presentations, managing objections, securing customer commitments, and delivering measurable sales outcomes.
• Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Teams, and relevant selling and reporting tools.
• Capability to analyze sales reports, prioritize opportunities, manage a sales pipeline, and communicate a data-driven forecast.
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, planning, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to swiftly evaluate account conditions, identify opportunities, and build trusted relationships with customers.
• Experience in foodservice sales or relevant sales roles involving client programs, distributors, buying groups, GPOs, or contract-managed accounts.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that complies with company standards.
• Ability to utilize the Everlance application and submit mileage and expenses within set deadlines.
• Willingness to drive extensively within the designated territory, up to 250 miles daily.
• Capability to stand and remain active for extended durations, up to four hours at a time.
• Ability to walk moderate distances and navigate restaurants, kitchens, storage areas, loading zones, stairs, and uneven surfaces.
• Capability to lift, carry, transport, set up, and dismantle materials typically weighing between 30–40 pounds.
• Ability to frequently bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and maneuver in confined or active environments.
• Ability to work in foodservice settings with exposure to heat, cold, wet or slippery floors, and confined or high-traffic areas.
