Outside Property Claim Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Engage in structured virtual, classroom, and hands-on training covering insurance policies, claims processes, systems, and procedures.

• Examine, investigate, and document first-party property claims under close supervision.

• Collect information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party vendors.

• Investigate and assess pertinent facts and documents, including leases, contracts, and bylaws.

• Identify and apply coverage for building damages in accordance with policy terms.

• Create precise scopes of building and contents losses for written or computer-assisted estimates.

• Communicate promptly and professionally with customers, claimants, and internal stakeholders.

• Maintain precise records of claim activity within claim management systems.

• Acquire knowledge and adapt to AI, digital transformation, new technologies, system upgrades, and digital tools.

• Participate in catastrophe deployments to support customers in other states.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• One year of experience in customer service.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred for ideal candidates.

• Previous internship or work experience in customer service or insurance preferred.

• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license as mandated by state law.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Eagerness to learn claims management and estimating software.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Good judgment and effective decision-making within established authority.

• Exceptional customer service abilities.

• Attention to detail and organizational abilities; capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Basic conflict resolution skills.

• Capability to access and inspect all areas of dwellings or structures, carry, set up, and climb a ladder weighing 38–49 pounds, walk on roofs, and enter confined spaces.

• Willingness to reside in or relocate at personal expense to the assigned Prescott, AZ territory.

• Insurance license(s) generally required within three months of employment where applicable.

• Ability to participate in the Catastrophe Response Program and deploy to other states.
