Outpatient Psychiatrist, MD/DO – Illinois License or Active IMLC Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient psychiatric care remotely to adult patients aged 18 and older.

• Perform 60-minute initial evaluations and 20-minute follow-up consultations.

• Address conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, schizophrenia, mood disorders, co-occurring disorders, and other general mental health issues.

• Manage patients with a range of acuity levels.

• Provide 40 hours of care weekly from Monday to Friday during CST business hours.

• Allocate 60 minutes daily for administrative tasks.

• Utilize Epic EMR for patient management.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams that include psychiatry, neurology, psychology, and administrative personnel.

• Provide high-quality behavioral healthcare to underserved populations.

• Work without on-call responsibilities or supervision of nurse practitioners.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree is required.

• Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency program.

• An active medical license in Illinois or a current IMLC license is mandatory.

• Must hold an active medical license in the United States.

• Residency in the U.S. or a U.S. territory is necessary.

• Availability for 40 hours each week during CST business hours from Monday to Friday.

• Experience and comfort in managing patients with varying acuity levels.

• Proficiency in treating adults aged 18 and above.

• Telehealth experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with Epic EMR is advantageous.
