Outpatient Psychiatrist, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient psychiatric services remotely to children, adolescents, and young adults aged 5–21.

• Address conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and various other behavioral health issues.

• Conduct initial evaluations lasting 60 minutes and follow-up appointments for 30 minutes.

• Allocate 60 minutes each day for administrative tasks.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in behavioral healthcare.

• Provide patient-focused care via telehealth using the Credible platform.

• Care for patients across different acuity levels.

• Commit to one late evening shift per week until 7:00 PM ET.

• No on-call responsibilities.

• No supervision required from nurse practitioners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of a four-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency program.

• An active U.S. medical license is mandatory.

• A Virginia medical license is preferred but not essential; support for licensing is provided.

• Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, including one evening per week until 7:00 PM ET.

• Experience and comfort in treating children, adolescents, and young adults aged 5–21.

• Ability to treat patients with varying acuity levels.

• Prior telehealth experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with the Credible platform is advantageous.

• Must reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.
