Outpatient Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist the expanding telehealth team in a supervisory role only.

• Offer collaboration and supervision to Nurse Practitioners without engaging in direct patient care.

• Deliver clinical guidance and case consultations to Nurse Practitioners.

• Perform chart reviews and audits.

• Contribute to the development of internal practice standards.

• Work in partnership with Clinical Supervisors to guarantee high-quality and consistent care across virtual behavioral health programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO; must be open to obtaining additional state licenses.

• Board certification in Psychiatry is required; certification in child/adolescent psychiatry is an advantage.

• Active DEA registration.

• Previous experience in a collaborative capacity with Nurse Practitioners.

• Background in Addiction, SMI, SUD, and Dual Diagnosis.

• Experience working with child and adolescent psychiatry patients.

• Familiarity and experience with managed care, Medicaid, and private payers.

• Experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Treatment.

• Prior experience in telehealth settings.

• Comfortable with technology, including telehealth platforms, video communication, and electronic health records (EHRs).

• Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations.

• Eligibility to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

• Proficiency in English; additional language skills, especially in Spanish, are a plus.

• Strong interpersonal abilities and a willingness to work in a collaborative team setting.

• Promptness in responding to texts, phone calls, and emails during business hours.
