This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Make outbound calls and receive inbound calls to assess the appropriate action for each situation.
• Document information and uphold departmental procedures and policies.
• Provide assistance to policyholders as necessary.
• Initiate outbound calls to newly issued clients to welcome them, verify policy accuracy, and offer additional details about their new policies.
• Navigate the CRM while interacting with recently approved customers to collect the initial premium and activate life insurance policies.
• Conduct outbound calls to leads generated through the internet to engage potential customers for the Sales Team.
• Articulate policy benefits clearly.
• Complete required documentation.
• Support with correspondence and corrections related to policy services.
• Implement outbound-call special projects and campaigns for affiliated companies, including AIL and LNL, while documenting customer activities as required.
• High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Some college education is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or a professional environment with a customer service focus.
• Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licensing is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Over 1 year of office experience is preferred.
• Experience in telecommunications is advantageous.
• A background in life and health insurance, along with knowledge of insurance operations, is desired.
• Strong customer service skills and effective phone communication abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Ability to uphold confidentiality.
• Comfortable with collecting payments through Credit Card and Bank Draft options.
• Strong alpha and numeric recognition skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in mathematics.
• Capability to perform well under pressure and manage high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.
• Strong decision-making abilities with the capacity to assess situations and draw logical conclusions.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality record.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Outlook.
• Ability to multitask across various sources.
