This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +43 more states.
• Oversee and manage OTS EPC projects throughout the pre-construction phase, focusing on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Maintain and update the OTS Pre-Construction Tracker.
• Serve as the primary contact for EPC Pre-Con regarding incoming projects.
• Participate in handoff calls from Business Development to Pre-Construction.
• Validate initial project budgets and liaise with stakeholders.
• Identify and manage cost variations during the pre-construction phase.
• Create job start forms and initiate projects in CMiC.
• Work alongside the design team to initiate design work within project schedule constraints.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to prepare project Bills of Materials.
• Oversee the execution of vendor subcontracts while considering project schedule limitations.
• Partner with EPC Pre-Con to process SOLV-to-SOLV Agreements.
• Monitor and review SOW exhibits.
• Allocate appropriate project resources in coordination with the Manager of OTS Project Development and other management personnel.
• Review and update project schedules as necessary.
• Engage in financial and month-end reporting for projects during the pre-construction phase.
• Organize and facilitate project handoffs from OTS Pre-Con to OTS Project Managers.
• Collaborate with EPC teams to process and import comprehensive project budgets into CMiC.
• Support ongoing improvements and enhance process efficiency.
• Ensure successful project setup and transition to project execution teams.
• A minimum of 4 years of project management experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects within multidisciplinary teams.
• At least 2 years of experience in the PV solar industry.
• General familiarity with SCADA and/or OT system design, setup, commissioning, and support is desired but not essential.
• Experience with basic renewable generation monitoring functions and designs.
• Skills in customer escalation and conflict resolution are advantageous.
• Ability in resource planning and mitigation management.
• Experience in cost budget management.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in interpreting diagrams and schematics, including power systems, networking and control, electrical, mechanical, and civil layouts.
• Familiarity with scheduling software such as Oracle P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Power BI.
• Experience with task management tools is a plus.
