OT Security Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops involving IT, OT, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Cybersecurity teams.

• Formulate the OT cybersecurity strategy, architectural principles, and governance frameworks.

• Create methodologies for Security Zones and Conduits in alignment with IEC 62443.

• Establish a Defence-in-Depth security architecture utilizing the Onion Model.

• Set standards for OT network segmentation and firewall architecture.

• Specify secure connectivity requirements among OT, enterprise IT, and cloud environments.

• Develop requirements for OT identity and access management, including controls for privileged access.

• Define cybersecurity requirements for vulnerability management and incident response.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, corporate standards, and data protection mandates.

• Oversee technical reviews, governance forums, and document approval processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in cybersecurity.

• More than 7 years of experience specifically in OT/ICS cybersecurity.

• Experience in regulated manufacturing settings.

• Strong knowledge and practical experience with IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82.

• Expertise in Industrial Control Systems and cybersecurity in manufacturing.

• Experience in conducting OT risk assessments and establishing security governance.

• Solid understanding of the Purdue Model, industrial DMZ architectures, and network segmentation.

• Proficiency in firewall security architecture.

• Familiarity with identity and access management for OT environments.

• Experience in OT incident response.

• Capability to lead cross-functional workshops and translate security requirements into enterprise standards and reference architectures.
