This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct field inspections and verify contractor work to ensure compliance of underground, buried, and aerial plant facilities with current standards.

• Execute audits, inspections, and pole transfers.

• Record findings both electronically and manually, utilizing printed spreadsheets when necessary.

• Employ mapping and GPS technology to locate and confirm plant infrastructure.

• Engage with client and vendor management through email and cellular communication.

• Collaborate with construction teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.

• Travel to field locations as required, which may include occasional overnight stays.

• Keep detailed records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.

• Promote safe and effective construction practices, network reliability, service excellence, and timely project execution.


⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience conducting NESC inspections or working on an aerial cable line crew.

• Experience in performing wooden pole ground line inspections.

• Knowledge of OSP Construction Standards.

• Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code (NESC).

• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Knowledge of Microsoft MapPoint is preferred but not required.

• Comfortable using the internet and web-based applications.

• Experience overseeing construction contractors in the field.

• Possess a valid driver’s license.

• Willingness to travel on short notice.

• Candidates must live within one hour of Port St. Lucie, Florida, or its surrounding areas.

• Strong skills in communication, organization, and time management.
