Orthopedic Surgery Utilization Reviewer – Maryland Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Execute independent utilization assessments.

• Carry out peer and utilization evaluations for MRIoA.

• Engage in peer-to-peer discussions during daytime hours.

• Analyze sensitive health information in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) is required.

• Must possess a current Maryland medical license.

• Current Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery is necessary.

• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including residency, is required.

• Availability during daytime hours for peer-to-peer conversations.

• Must be a board-certified physician in Orthopedic Surgery.

• Capability to work remotely from any location within the US.

• Patient records must be maintained within the US in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
