Order Management Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily operations related to retail customer orders and relationships with retailers.

• Comprehend customer demand patterns, including replenishment, promotional activities, and line resets.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to fulfill customer requirements.

• Engage with retail partners and provide updates on order status.

• Investigate discrepancies between customer purchase orders and Apprise ERP data, determining necessary corrective actions.

• Verify inbound EDI orders for precision and completeness.

• Accurately review and input non-EDI customer purchase orders into the system.

• Collaborate with production and planning teams to address inventory challenges and supply shortages.

• Create action plans with Sales and Planning when customer demand cannot be satisfied.

• Adjust orders with the Sales team to ensure they reflect shippable products.

• Partner with distribution center teams to resolve shipment-process order issues.

• Evaluate the effects of changes in customer routing guides on order and shipment processing.

• Inform departments of pertinent changes and ensure timely resolution.

• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and IT regarding the status of new accounts.

• Lead domestic kick-off meetings for newly onboarded customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in wholesale collaboration with major retail accounts.

• Familiarity with the websites and systems of major retailers.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Preferred knowledge of ERP systems.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
