Oracle Fusion HCM Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and provide support for Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM solutions across Core HR, Workforce Structures, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, Payroll, and other related functionalities.

• Define and support comprehensive HCM business processes, including Hire-to-Retire, workforce management, employee lifecycle, compensation, talent, and organizational management.

• Offer functional and technical architectural leadership for implementations, enhancements, and ongoing support.

• Convert business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions and identify opportunities for process improvement.

• Lead the solution architecture and design that encompasses configuration, integrations, reporting, data conversion, extensions, security, and performance.

• Design and manage integrations between Oracle Fusion HCM and internal or external applications utilizing OIC and other Oracle integration technologies.

• Review RICEF functional and technical specifications and guide development, integration, and implementation teams.

• Supervise HCM data conversion and migration, including mapping, validation, transformation, and migration strategies.

• Design and evaluate Oracle Fusion HCM security architecture, roles, privileges, data access, and security protocols.

• Provide expertise in OTBI, BI Publisher, and HCM Extracts reporting and analytics.

• Lead or assist in CRP, SIT, UAT, deployment, production readiness, and post-production support activities.

• Analyze and resolve intricate functional and technical issues while considering scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, and performance.

• Collaborate with enterprise architects, business analysts, developers, integration teams, application support teams, implementation partners, and stakeholders.

• Establish architecture, integration, development, security, and governance standards, along with reference architectures, patterns, roadmaps, and documentation.

• Contribute to the HCM technology roadmap by evaluating quarterly updates, new capabilities, emerging technologies, technical debt, and dependencies.

• Provide technical and functional guidance, mentorship, and architectural direction.

• Adhere to safety rules and standards, engage in pre-task planning, report safety concerns, and uphold quality standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field with 10 years of relevant experience; alternatively, a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience without a degree.

• Eight years of relevant business, systems development, or enterprise application experience, with substantial Oracle expertise.

• Strong hands-on experience in implementing, architecting, and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, demonstrating proficiency in both functional and technical dimensions of the platform.

• In-depth understanding of end-to-end HCM business processes, including Hire-to-Retire.

• Experience across Core HR, Workforce Structures, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, Payroll, and related HCM functionalities.

• Proficient in designing and implementing Oracle Fusion HCM integrations using OIC and other Oracle integration technologies.

• Familiarity with HCM Extracts, HDL, REST/SOAP APIs, Fast Formulas, OTBI, and BI Publisher.

• Experience with RICEF solutions, data conversion and migration, security, and Oracle Fusion HCM architecture.

• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and cloud-based application and integration architecture.

• Proven experience leading solutions through the complete implementation lifecycle, from requirements and solution design to testing, deployment, production support, and collaboration with implementation partners and cross-functional technical and business teams.

• Strong grasp of Oracle Cloud architecture principles and the ability to recommend configuration over customization.

• Familiarity with Oracle quarterly updates, including impact assessments, testing, and the adoption of new functionalities.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and technical leadership skills.

• Experience with Visual Builder / VBCS and other Oracle Cloud Platform services is preferred.

• Oracle Fusion HCM certification is preferred.
