Oracle ERP Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement comprehensive data architecture strategies across Oracle ERP, SCM, and CX applications.

• Create scalable, secure, and efficient data models that support end-to-end business processes.

• Set architectural standards along with best practices for data modeling and design patterns.

• Lead large-scale data migration and conversion projects for Oracle Cloud implementations, upgrades, and acquisitions.

• Outline data mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation strategies between legacy and Oracle Cloud systems.

• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity throughout the entire migration lifecycle.

• Architect and manage integrations between Oracle ERP, SCM, CX, HCM, and third-party applications.

• Develop data exchange frameworks utilizing Oracle Integration Cloud, APIs, middleware, and ETL technologies.

• Guarantee seamless transfer of master and transactional data across enterprise platforms.

• Define and implement enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.

• Establish processes for data quality monitoring, stewardship, security, and compliance.

• Create validation, reconciliation, and auditing procedures.

• Collaborate with business leaders, functional consultants, project teams, and technical resources to identify data requirements and solutions.

• Convert business objectives into scalable data architecture designs.

• Offer subject matter expertise on Oracle data models, integrations, and migration strategies.

• Lead data architecture initiatives during implementations and digital transformation projects.

• Mentor project teams and promote best practices in data architecture.

• Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and enhanced data management.

• Stay informed on Oracle Cloud product enhancements and emerging data technologies.

• Participate in internal projects and provide assistance to others involved in projects.

• May conduct training for technical staff, perform interviews, allocate project staff responsibilities, oversee workflow, and evaluate project performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data management with a focus on Oracle ERP applications.

• Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale data migration and conversion initiatives within Oracle ERP settings.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP, SCM, and CX data models and architecture.

• Experience in enterprise data migration, conversion, and integration processes.

• Understanding of comprehensive business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, and Service Operations.

• Familiarity with Oracle Field Service data structures and integrations is advantageous.

• Reliable and consistent internet connectivity.

• Capability to provide a professional remote office environment with suitable background and noise levels.

• Availability to work during Apex IT business hours and occasionally outside of these hours.

• Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary.

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and work on a computer.

• Capacity to bend, sit, lift, and drive.
