Oracle EBS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and improve A2R-related modules within Oracle EBS, specifically focusing on Projects, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and GL.

• Design and execute the Global Capitalization Interface along with associated automation components.

• Construct and sustain RICE-FW components that connect APSR ↔ DAI and ELMS ↔ EBS.

• Create conversions and extensions for asset data management.

• Generate reports to track the asset lifecycle.

• Implement automation for the bulk capitalization of assets, cost accumulation and transfer, depreciation, and valuation procedures.

• Establish and refine journal import controls and accounting event triggers.

• Facilitate integrations to minimize manual data entry, reduce material misstatements, and eliminate timing delays in asset capitalization.

• Conduct Development Integration Testing (DIT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to data, interfaces, and lifecycle processing.

• Produce technical documentation, interface control documents (ICDs), and data mappings.

• Collaborate with functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on A2R process flows and requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must have IT-II security clearance or a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).

• Basic Federal Clearance prerequisites include U.S. Citizenship, a clear criminal history check, and no recent or pending bankruptcies.

• Relevant Oracle or ERP certification is preferred.

• A minimum of five (5) years of pertinent experience in Oracle EBS development supporting asset or financial modules is required.

• Proficiency in Oracle Projects (CIP/WIP), Fixed Assets (FA), and Inventory / Procure-to-Pay (P2P) integrations.

• Experience in developing interfaces and integrations between ERP systems and external platforms.

• Familiarity with PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, XML Publisher (BI Publisher), and interface development (APIs, open interfaces, data loaders).

• Knowledge of RICE-FW objects, particularly Interfaces and Conversions.

• Understanding of the Asset lifecycle (Acquire → Capitalize → Depreciate → Retire) and CIP/WIP accounting processes.

• Experience in supporting data validation, reconciliation, and audit traceability.

• Background in Agile methodologies; SAFe experience is preferred.

• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

• Experience with DAI / Oracle Federal Financials is preferred.

• Familiarity with DPAS / ELMS or similar asset management systems and DLMS / CTAS or DoD logistics standards is preferred.

• Experience in automating capitalization and asset accounting processes is preferred.

• Understanding of audit requirements (FIAR, NFR remediation, valuation & completeness) is preferred.
