This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Serve as an Oracle Application DBA within an integrated project team for Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
β’ Assist in the management and upkeep of multiple Oracle RDBMS instances within an Oracle EBS R12 shared-service framework.
β’ Expand additional instances in response to capacity planning and evolving government requirements.
β’ Ensure production uptime service levels through effective backup, recovery, refresh, performance tuning, and security measures.
β’ Strategize and react to service outages, including managing backups and restores.
β’ Oversee system performance and troubleshoot software and hardware failures until resolution.
β’ Deliver patch management and distribution functionalities.
β’ Develop and validate data backups.
β’ Execute data cleansing, confirm data integrity, and set up access controls.
β’ Conduct database configuration, monitoring, and tuning activities.
β’ Perform routine maintenance, analyze and resolve problem defects, manage space and storage, oversee object management, physical database layout, rollback segment management, and temporary space management.
β’ Support logs and alerts, manage access rights and roles, control database instance versioning, IDs, authorizations, audits, locked/unlocked statuses, and revocation processes.
β’ Monitor memory utilization, adjust database parameters and resources, and manage I/O distribution effectively.
β’ Ensure system health, maintenance, technical security, recovery, and basic application technical tuning.
β’ Maintain schedules for Oracle Critical Upgrades and patch management.
β’ Assist in testing, fielding, systems sustainment, software development, migration, and integration activities as necessary.
β’ Contribute to work plans for security analysis and recommendations.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent, alongside five years of relevant work experience, including extensive Oracle ERP support.
β’ Proficiency in using WebLogic for Oracle EBS R12.2 web tier and Oracle OEM12c for environment management and monitoring.
β’ Experience with OCI, including migration assistance.
β’ Background in installing and supporting Oracle RAC, SuperCluster, R12.2, and 12c databases.
β’ Familiarity with implementing or migrating to Cloud Service Provider (CSP) environments.
β’ Experience in upgrading Oracle databases.
β’ Solid understanding of maintaining DoD security standards and regulations, including Oracle CPU patching, access management, direct grants, and database links.
β’ Experience in security monitoring, management, and testing, including IAVAs, patches, and STIGs.
β’ Knowledge in designing and implementing single sign-on architecture for applications such as SOA and OBIEE using OAM/OID.
β’ Possession of DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as OCA WebLogic 11g SA, OCI Foundations 2020, or Security+ CE.
β’ Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to undergo an IT-I background investigation.
β’ Previous experience with Oracle EBS Federal Financial Management supporting Federal or DoD clients is a plus.
