Ops Manager – People Success

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee the onboarding process, collaborating with managers, IT, and the Operations team to ensure every new hire is well-informed and nothing is overlooked.

• Update onboarding materials to reflect organizational changes and conduct feedback surveys with new employees.

• Manage People databases as a dependable single source of truth, ensuring clear accountability for all updates.

• Organize People information for easy access through AI, minimizing manual inquiries.

• Ensure compensation and incentives remain aligned with industry standards.

• Act as the primary resource for People-related inquiries from team members and managers.

• Transform recurring requests and challenges into improved documentation, processes, or tools.

• Undertake ad hoc People infrastructure projects that enhance managers' efficiency or alleviate ongoing issues.

• Engage with managers to comprehend the organizational structure, facilitate onboarding comprehensively, and pinpoint unreliable People data.

• Monitor frequent People inquiries and convert challenges into documentation, processes, or tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in general operations (Chief of Staff, Operations Manager), People Operations, or leadership roles focused on People matters.

• Strong analytical and modeling capabilities; comfortable working with numerical data.

• Demonstrated ability to build trust and manage relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership.

• Tech-savvy and proactive regarding new tools, AI, and automation.

• Ability to reason from first principles and logically address exceptions.

• Values simplicity and seeks to eliminate unnecessary processes.

• Comprehends and upholds a strong existing culture without attempting to overhaul it.
