This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.
• Assist the Regional Operations Manager in providing effective and high-quality operational services across the Business Units in Belize, Guatemala, and Mexico.
• Organize and manage operational support tasks.
• Cultivate a robust customer service culture that prioritizes internal clients.
• Work in collaboration with Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Information Technology, and various other functional teams.
• Recognize opportunities for process enhancement, standardization, and ongoing improvement.
• Aid in the implementation of operational best practices and devise solutions to operational challenges.
• Handle confidential information and assist with employee-related administrative functions.
• Contribute to change management and initiatives for process improvement.
• Offer guidance to operational personnel.
• Oversee one or more team members, providing daily leadership, coaching, guidance, and support for performance.
• Develop and coordinate tactics for approved strategic initiatives and fulfill daily responsibilities.
• Ensure adherence to programmatic commitments, policies, procedures, financial standards, and legal obligations.
• Implement and oversee new initiatives that align with departmental and organizational goals.
• Manage projects, timelines, deadlines, and accountability effectively.
• Engage in complex negotiations.
• Administer HR transactions for the Belize, Guatemala, and Mexico Business Units.
• Assist with HR annual processes such as merit review and performance partnerships.
• Facilitate onboarding and clarify organizational structures and functional contacts.
• Aid in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts in collaboration with Finance.
• Monitor the completion of staff timesheets.
• Manage Staff Delegations of Authority for the Business Unit in partnership with Legal.
• Encourage a collaborative, inclusive, and service-oriented team culture.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in coordinating operational, administrative, human resources, finance, or comparable business processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Experience collaborating across departments.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders and service providers.
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
• Supervisory experience, including setting objectives, managing performance, and resolving conflicts.
• Multi-lingual capabilities and/or multi-cultural experience are valued.
• Non-profit work experience is considered advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
