Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Establish relationships and foster connections with salon managers, franchisees, and internal teams.

• Coach, inspire, and motivate salon managers, general managers, and franchisees to enhance and elevate salon performance.

• Oversee and document adherence to the Great Clips operating system and brand standards.

• Assess salon operations and offer recommendations for enhancement.

• Conduct salon audits utilizing Great Clips tools and resources.

• Provide coaching and developmental support for salon managers.

• Collaborate with franchisees and Great Clips personnel to boost performance and growth.

• Manage designated market budgets to achieve expense and net salon objectives.

• Cultivate trust with franchisees to promote positive organizational growth.

• Energize large groups of salon managers and franchisees through public speaking engagements.

• Lead presentations.

• Operate from a home office when not traveling; regularly visit salons and attend company meetings.

• Candidates must reside in the Chicago metropolitan area.

• Proven ability to build relationships, motivate, coach, and influence others.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Competence in conducting workshops and presentations.

• Fundamental understanding of financial principles.

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

• Capability to establish credibility and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

• Willingness to travel and maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Proficiency in using Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and internet functionalities.

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is essential.

• A minimum of 2 years post-high school business or equivalent education, along with 4 years of salon/retail management experience, is required.

• Access to reliable, secure internet for remote work.

• Willingness to travel 40–60% of the time.
