Operations Project Manager – Transmission and Substation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee designated projects from budget approval to final completion, ensuring projects are placed into service and properly closed out.

• Direct project teams spanning Engineering, CRE, Siting & Permitting, Legal, Environmental, ISC, Business Services, External Affairs, TSE Construction, and T&S Operations.

• Manage aspects of safety, scheduling, risk assessment, budgeting, contracts, reporting, communication, FERC compliance, and project closure.

• Supervise the execution of large Transmission & Substation initiatives.

• Guide project teams to achieve established budgets and timelines.

• Work in collaboration with T&S Construction to ensure effective clearance execution.

• Generate and present monthly budget forecast expenditure reports.

• Create and submit FERC compliance documentation as required.

• Address project challenges in coordination with T&S major project leadership.

• Report directly to the Program Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline with a focus on Project Management.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is required.

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in leading Transmission & Substation projects or similar roles.

• Advanced knowledge in engineering and project management practices.

• Candidates must comply with applicable United States and comparable foreign export control regulations.
