This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.
β’ Work collaboratively with clients and Implementation Managers to deliver clinical insights regarding drug expenditures and usage, clinical management strategies, medication alternatives, and formulary adherence.
β’ Function as a clinical subject matter expert in support of Plan Operations activities.
β’ Serve as a clinical liaison connecting Plan Operations with various internal teams at SmithRx.
β’ Articulate the value propositions of formularies and clinical programs to clients and internal stakeholders.
β’ Assist in communicating formulary modifications and updates related to programs.
β’ Propose clinical programs that can yield cost savings for clients and their members.
β’ Keep track of market trends and offer clinical market insights.
β’ Provide drug information and address plan-specific clinical questions.
β’ Develop and refresh clinical marketing materials for new-group launch activities.
β’ Analyze data and interpret drug benefit structures.
β’ Convey analytical and reporting requirements to relevant support departments.
β’ Possession of an Advanced Degree in Pharmacy, RPh, or Pharm D.
β’ A current and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of primary residence.
β’ Over 3 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of knowledge regarding healthcare benefits, account management, pharmacy benefits and designs, or commercial health insurance is preferred.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in a client-facing role with external clients (beyond patients and prescribers) is required.
β’ Proficient in executive-level communication, including the ability to develop and deliver formal presentations, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
β’ A strong passion for enhancing customer experience and satisfaction.
β’ Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within an extended, cross-functional team.
β’ A self-motivated, result-driven work ethic accompanied by a positive attitude.

β’ Applicants must possess a current, unrestricted pharmacist license in their state of primary residence.
