This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Oversee real-time transactions and other customer activities identified for fraudulent and abusive behavior for manual evaluation.

• Examine individual transactions by utilizing internal policies and review methods to assess their legitimacy.

• Gain an understanding of systems and tools; analyze account patterns through data assessment.

• Investigate fraud and user behavior to aid in the development of machine learning models, rules, and other detection systems.

• Collaborate with analysts, operations specialists, data scientists, and engineers to enhance fraud prevention strategies, processes, and tools.

• Acquire and uphold a comprehensive knowledge of fraud prevention techniques and technologies.

• Ensure compliance with or exceed established service level agreements (SLAs) for timely resolution of queued cases to reduce potential losses.

• Address escalations from internal and external stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.

• At least 1 year of experience in investigating and resolving fraud cases.

• Proficient in data analysis and capable of making significant decisions in a fast-paced, often ambiguous setting.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Strong business acumen and communication skills.

• Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision following training.

• Availability to work during holidays.

• Proven experience with Claude or similar large language model tools is essential; candidates must be adept at utilizing AI to boost productivity, research, and communication.

• Experience in fintech, payments, lending, banking, or financial services is advantageous.

• Degree in statistics, mathematics, finance, economics, or a related quantitative field; a graduate degree is preferred.

• Familiarity with database query languages (e.g., SQL) and data processing and analytics tools such as Python, R, or SAS is a plus.

• The ideal candidate should be ready to start within two weeks of receiving an offer.
