This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee real-time transactions and customer behaviors identified for potential fraud and abuse for manual examination.

• Analyze individual transactions utilizing internal policies and review techniques to ascertain the fraudulent nature of the transactions.

• Familiarize with systems and tools; examine account patterns through data analysis.

• Conduct research on fraud and user behavior to aid in the development of machine learning models, rules, and other detection systems.

• Work collaboratively with analysts, operations specialists, data scientists, and engineers to enhance fraud prevention strategies, processes, and tools.

• Acquire and uphold a comprehensive understanding of fraud prevention methods and technologies.

• Meet or surpass established SLAs for the prompt resolution of queued cases to reduce potential losses.

• Manage escalations from both internal and external stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

• At least 1 year of experience in investigating and resolving fraud-related incidents.

• Proficient in data analysis and confident in making significant decisions in a dynamic and occasionally uncertain environment.

• Strong attention to detail and adeptness at multitasking.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Strong business acumen and communication skills.

• Ability to initiate tasks independently and work with minimal supervision following training.

• Willingness to work during holidays.

• Proven experience using Claude or similar large language model tools is essential; candidates should be comfortable using AI to boost productivity, research, and communication.

• Background in fintech, payments, lending, banking, or financial services is advantageous.

• Degree in statistics, mathematics, finance, economics, or a related quantitative field; a graduate degree is preferred.

• Familiarity with database query languages (e.g., SQL) and data processing and analytics tools such as Python, R, or SAS is a plus.

• The ideal candidate will be prepared to start within two weeks following an offer.
