Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Assist the Senior Executive Officer in supervising and managing operational activities within ADGM, including both intragroup and third-party service providers, ensuring that delivery is compliant with local regulations and contractual commitments.

• Take ownership of executing operational policies, procedures, SLA frameworks, and risk management protocols across essential business workstreams.

• Create and uphold supervision frameworks for trading, staking, and custody operations in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

• Construct and sustain operational resilience frameworks that encompass risk identification, contingency planning, and vulnerability mitigation.

• Coordinate operational incident responses with internal stakeholders, regulators, and third-party service providers.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with banks, regulators, and internal stakeholders to effectively communicate operational and risk strategies.

• Oversee project management for critical operations and risk-related initiatives spanning Legal, Compliance, Security, Finance, Product, and Customer Service.

• Provide support for first-line-of-defense operations, which includes launch assessments, approvals, staffing, and auditing activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the financial services sector in the Middle East, management or strategy consulting, or operations strategy.

• Experience in a regulated investment dealer environment, focusing on trade supervision in crypto, equities, or derivatives.

• Proven track record of developing new processes and enhancing existing workflows to boost operational efficiency.

• Strong collaborative skills across a diverse range of business functions, with a particular emphasis on engaging with senior management.

• Ability to generate high-quality content and materials suitable for external audiences with minimal oversight.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with the crypto/Web3 landscape, including digital asset markets and tokenization.

• Responsible utilization of AI, ensuring human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable enhancements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
