Operations Manager – eCommerce, DTC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of daily operations and proactively identify potential bottlenecks before they escalate into issues.

• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and systems utilizing Notion.

• Manage the supply chain, inventory, purchasing, logistics, third-party logistics (3PL), and order fulfillment.

• Assist in leading Customer Service and cross-functional teams.

• Facilitate hiring, onboarding, team accountability, and performance evaluations.

• Oversee projects from conception to execution with minimal involvement from the founder.

• Create reporting mechanisms and key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide leadership with clear insights.

• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, 3PLs, and other external partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on, in-house experience operating a direct-to-consumer (DTC) eCommerce brand with physical products.

• Over 3 years of experience in Operations, General Management, or a comparable leadership position.

• Experience spanning multiple business functions, not confined to a single department.

• Strong background in supply chain management, inventory control, fulfillment, and third-party logistics (3PL).

• Proven ability to create SOPs and implement scalable processes.

• Demonstrated experience in hiring, managing, and ensuring team accountability.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Previous experience in health, wellness, supplements, or nutrition is a significant advantage.

• Experience working closely with founders in a rapidly growing DTC company is a strong plus.

• Background as Head of Operations, General Manager, COO, or Chief of Staff is highly desirable.
