Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations of a small team, which includes a land acquisitions manager and an operations assistant, ensuring they meet weekly targets.

• Manage outsourced marketing vendors across various channels including social media, email, and paid advertising.

• Provide clear briefs to suppliers, maintain communication with them, and assess the quality of their output.

• Assist approximately twenty paying program clients through the onboarding process, conduct weekly coaching calls, and address any inquiries.

• Ensure all deals and projects are actively tracked in Monday.com.

• Recognize when deals or projects encounter delays.

• Develop written processes and onboarding materials for an expanding team.

• Serve as the intermediary between the founder and the rest of the team.

• Allow the founder to concentrate on investor relations, deal approvals, and engagement with landowners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years in an operations manager, general manager, or second-in-command position.

• Proven experience in managing remote teams and ensuring they meet weekly performance metrics.

• Direct experience working alongside a business owner, demonstrating the ability to make daily decisions independently.

• Strong confidence in coordinating with suppliers and contractors, including effective communication over the phone.

• Familiarity with Monday.com or similar project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Trello.

• Proficient in using Slack for team communication.

• Comfortable integrating AI tools into everyday tasks.

• Background in property, land, planning, or construction sectors.

• Experience in managing a paid client program, cohort, or membership.

• Previous experience working with businesses in the UK.
