Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Manage operations and business strategies by leveraging cross-departmental collaboration to achieve strategic goals, with a specific focus on No Surprises Act (NSA) Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) operations.

• Create and oversee methodologies for monitoring, identifying, and resolving issues.

• Analyze and present program outcomes and insights.

• Formulate data-driven analytical strategies for clients concerning NSA IDR operations and results.

• Conduct data analysis from diverse sources to enhance effectiveness and return-on-investment metrics related to product activities, IDR outcomes, and fees.

• Work closely with team members to ascertain customer expectations and drive process improvements aimed at enhancing quality, reducing costs, and boosting satisfaction for staff, providers, and members, while ensuring compliance with NSA IDR regulations.

• Assist and empower operations personnel in planning, achieving, and monitoring strategic initiatives and the comprehensive IDR process.

• Act as an internal resource and consultant on improvement efforts as well as NSA IDR requirements and procedures.

• Employ quality improvement methodologies to minimize waste and rework, enhancing the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of IDR operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship, either now or in the future.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in operational business processes or data analysis.

• Experience in the managed care or insurance sector is preferred.

• Hands-on experience in implementing continuous improvement through Six Sigma or Total Quality Management (TQM) is advantageous.

• Experience in a matrix environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with NSA and appeal disputes is desirable.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
